Contribution to Your Learning and the Learning Community
After reflecting on my work, contributions, and growth throughout this course, I believe a score of 95 out of 100 accurately reflects my performance. This course has not only challenged me academically but has also helped me grow as a collaborator, a communicator, and a reflective learner. From consistently engaging in weekly tasks to supporting my group members (Tytiuana, Leslie, and Yusmila). I've remained deeply committed to both my own learning and the success of our learning community.

What’s Working

One of the key things that has worked really well for me over the past eight weeks has been my commitment to structure and consistency. I made it a point to check in weekly with my group members, which helped all of us stay grounded and connected, even when the workload became intense. These check-ins weren’t just task-based; they often turned into spaces where we could encourage each other, offer feedback, and adjust our approach if needed.

The way the course was set up in weekly folders, clear deadlines, and organized materials, also supported my workflow. I made sure to stay on top of the readings, videos, and assignments, and this gave me a solid foundation to contribute meaningfully to discussions and group work. I appreciated having everything laid out clearly; it allowed me to plan ahead and make sure I was meeting expectations each week.

More importantly, I consistently met every course deadline, revised all of my assignments based on feedback, and thoughtfully reflected on those revisions. I didn’t just revise for the grade, I revised because I genuinely wanted to understand what I could do better and to apply what I was learning in a deeper way.

What I Can Do Better

Even though I feel proud of my contributions, I know there’s always room to grow. One thing I could have done better is to set tighter deadlines for myself. I was always on time with submissions, but sometimes I waited longer than I needed to start assignments or give feedback. By creating earlier personal deadlines, I could have given myself and others even more breathing room for revisions and discussions.

I’ve also been thinking a lot about how to support my group’s morale more intentionally. We all worked hard and were reliable, but I know I can do more to lift others up during stressful weeks, whether that’s sending a quick encouraging message, cracking a joke to lighten the mood, or just checking in when someone seems quiet. It’s the human side of collaboration, and I want to be more mindful about creating space for that kind of emotional support.
My Contributions to the Group

Working with Tytiuana, Leslie, and Yusmila has been one of the highlights of this course. We had a great rhythm together, and I truly believe we brought out the best in one another. I took on a leadership role naturally in our group, helping to keep us organized, sending reminders about assignments and making sure we understood our goals. But we all shared responsibility, and I never felt like I was carrying things alone.

I regularly gave feedback to my teammates, and they did the same for me. I tried to make my feedback specific and kind pointing out what was strong and where something could be clearer or more aligned with the assignment. That back-and-forth helped all of us grow. I also revised my own assignments multiple times, taking in both peer and instructor feedback, and making sure each revision reflected deeper understanding and improvement.

My Course Contributions

Beyond my group, I stayed active in every part of the course. I participated in all discussion boards, posted early enough to give others time to engage with my ideas, and always made sure my writing showed both, critical thinking and connection to the course readings. I used APA citations throughout and supported my ideas with evidence when appropriate. At the same time, I also made informal posts to support or build on others’ comments. These posts didn’t require research, but they were just as valuable because they helped maintain a strong learning community.
I wanted to be someone others could count on to contribute thoughtfully and respectfully, and I feel like I lived up to that. Whether it was offering a new perspective, asking a question to deepen the conversation, or just responding with appreciation to someone’s insights, I made sure my presence in this course was meaningful and consistent.
Final Thoughts

Overall, I feel proud of the work I’ve done and the way I’ve shown up in this course, not just for myself, but for my group and the community as a whole. I’ve learned a lot, contributed actively, revised carefully, and stayed engaged from start to finish. While I see a few areas for growth, like setting tighter timelines and being more intentional about boosting team morale, I know that I’ve demonstrated strong leadership, collaboration, and dedication throughout.
For all of these reasons, I believe a score of 95 is fair and well-earned. It reflects both the effort I’ve put in and the impact I’ve had on my learning community.
